Our Commitment

CleanTube is built on a simple principle: your browsing is your business. We designed CleanTube to work entirely on your device without ever communicating with external servers. We collect absolutely no data from you.

No Data Collection

CleanTube does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:

No browsing history is recorded or transmitted
No search queries are tracked
No video watching habits are monitored
No device identifiers are collected
No IP addresses are logged
No cookies are set by CleanTube

No Accounts

CleanTube does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information. There is no registration, no email collection, and no user profiles.

No Analytics

CleanTube does not include any analytics frameworks, tracking pixels, or telemetry. We do not use services like Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, or any other analytics platform. We have no way of knowing how you use the app.

No Tracking

CleanTube does not track you across websites, apps, or devices. We do not participate in any advertising networks. We do not use fingerprinting techniques. We do not build user profiles.

Everything Runs Locally

All of CleanTube's functionality runs entirely on your device:

Your preferences are stored in local device storage (UserDefaults via App Group) and never leave your device
Content blocking rules are compiled and executed locally by Safari
CSS and JavaScript modifications are applied locally in your browser
Playback speed preferences are saved locally
No network requests are made by CleanTube to any server

Third-Party Services

CleanTube does not integrate with any third-party services. The only external interaction is with YouTube.com, which CleanTube modifies the appearance of within Safari. CleanTube does not send any data to YouTube or Google beyond what Safari normally would.

Children's Privacy

CleanTube does not collect any data from anyone, including children. The app is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. However, our core commitment to collecting zero data will not change.
